Nine Bar

Terms of sale.

What you get, what you pay, how to cancel and what happens if something goes wrong. Please read them before you buy. Version of 5 October 2026.

The short version

  • You buy from Jamie Mussett Harford, a self-employed sole trader in Spain, trading as Nine Bar.
  • The Programme is £99, paid once. That is a founding price. Lessons open one a week for 28 weeks. The toolkit opens straight away.
  • Your first 28 weeks (196 days) in The Room are included. After that The Room is £10 a month until you cancel. You can cancel at any time. If you cancel before the 28 weeks end, you pay nothing for The Room.
  • You have 14 days to change your mind. For the Programme, you lose that right once your access starts, but only if you asked for that at checkout and we confirmed it by email. Section 7 explains.
  • Questions or problems: email harfordjamie7@gmail.com.

The full terms are below. If you are a consumer, nothing in them takes away the rights the law gives you.

1. Who you are buying from

You buy from Jamie Mussett Harford, a self-employed sole trader (autónomo) in Spain, trading as Nine Bar. There is no company.

In these terms, "we", "us" and "Jamie" mean Jamie Mussett Harford. "You" means the person buying.

You must be 18 or over to buy. If you buy mainly for yourself rather than for a business, you are a consumer and consumer law protects you. A few parts of these terms apply only to people who buy for a business. Those parts say so.

2. What you can buy

The Programme: £99, paid once

  • 28 lessons across seven areas. Each lesson has a written page and a video.
  • The toolkit: spreadsheets you can download and fill in, and written guides and templates in the member area.
  • Lessons open one a week on fixed dates. Section 6 explains how.
  • Your first 28 weeks (196 days) in The Room are included at no extra charge. Section 5 explains.
  • "Yours to keep" means you pay once, and your access to the Programme has no end date. It does not depend on staying in The Room.

The Room: £10 a month after your first 28 weeks

  • A weekly grounding session, a weekly accountability check-in with a peer group of six, a monthly planning and forecasting session, a monthly live Q&A with Jamie, and new lessons as they are added.
  • Sessions run online. We give you the days and times in the member area or by email. Some sessions are recorded so members who miss them can catch up.
  • It is a monthly membership with no minimum term. You can cancel at any time.
  • Retreats and events in Mallorca are not part of the monthly price. If we offer them, they are sold separately on their own terms.

The Table and Private Counsel

  • The Table is £1,500 a month, by application. Private Counsel is from £25,000 a quarter, by introduction.
  • Neither is sold through this website. If you are offered a seat or an engagement, you get a separate written agreement first. It sets out what is included, how and when you pay, whether VAT is added, and how to end it.
  • Nothing is charged until you have signed that agreement. Where it differs from these terms, the agreement applies.

3. How to buy

  1. On the join page, choose "Continue to payment". The join page shows what you are buying, the price and the Programme start date.
  2. You go to a secure payment page run by Stripe, our payment provider. You enter your email address and payment details there.
  3. Check your order. You can correct any mistake by changing the fields on that page, or by going back with your browser, before you pay.
  4. By paying, you accept these terms. If the payment page asks whether your Programme access should start straight away, section 7 explains what your answer means.
  5. Press the payment button. The contract is made when Stripe confirms your payment.
  6. We bring you back to ninebar.casa and sign you in. You see your personal sign-in code. Stripe emails you a receipt.

The contract is in English. We do not keep a separate copy of each contract. Stripe keeps a record of your order and emails you a receipt and invoice. We keep every earlier version of these terms. If you want the version that applied when you bought, email us.

We send receipts and invoices by email. You can ask for a paper invoice at any time, free of charge.

4. Prices and payment

  • Prices are in pounds sterling. They are full prices: they include any taxes we have to charge. There are no delivery costs, because everything is supplied online.
  • Prices are not personalised. Everyone who buys at the same time pays the same price.
  • Stripe takes the payment. You can pay by card, or by another method shown on Stripe's payment page. We never see or store your full card number.
  • If you pay from an account in another currency, the exchange rate and any fees are set by Stripe or your bank, not by us. Where Stripe offers to show the price in your own currency, it shows the amount before you pay.
  • The Programme is charged once, when you buy: £99. This is a founding price. Later intakes will pay more for the Programme. The price you paid does not change.

5. Your first 28 weeks in The Room

  • The Room is included for 28 weeks (196 days), starting on the day you buy. You pay nothing more for The Room in that time.
  • You give your payment details at checkout so that The Room can carry on without a gap.
  • When the 196 days end, Stripe charges £10 to the same payment method. It then charges £10 every month on that date until you cancel.
  • Stripe emails you a reminder 7 days before the first £10 is charged.
  • If you cancel before the 196 days end, you pay nothing for The Room.
  • If a payment fails, Stripe tries again and emails you. If it still fails, your Room membership ends. Your Programme is not affected.

6. How lessons are released

  • The Programme runs from a start date we set. The date is shown on the join page before you pay.
  • Lesson one opens on the start date. A new lesson opens every 7 days after that, in programme order, until all 28 are open in week 28.
  • Lessons are released on Mondays. A lesson opens at 10:00 UK time on its release date, which is 11:00 in Palma.
  • If you join after the start date, every lesson already released is open to you straight away. The rest follow on their dates.
  • The toolkit opens as soon as you pay.
  • Jamie records the video for each lesson. Founding members can join the recording live. If a video is not ready on the release day, the written lesson still opens and the video follows. Section 9 explains what happens if a video is late.
  • Once a lesson is open, it stays open.

7. Your right to cancel within 14 days

If you are a consumer, the law gives you 14 days to cancel a contract made online without giving a reason. The law calls this the right of withdrawal. The 14 days end 14 days after the day you buy.

The Programme

  • The Programme is supplied online. Your access starts as soon as you pay: the toolkit opens straight away and lessons open on their release dates.
  • You lose your right to cancel the Programme only if all three of these happen: before you pay, you ask for your access to start straight away; you confirm that you understand you then lose the right to cancel; and we confirm both to you by email.
  • If all three happen, you cannot cancel the Programme under this 14-day right once your access has started.
  • If any of the three is missing, you keep the 14-day right. If you cancel within the 14 days, we refund the £99 in full and you pay nothing for anything you used.
  • This does not affect your rights if something is wrong. See section 10.

The Room

  • You can cancel The Room within 14 days of buying. Your first 28 weeks are included at no extra charge, so nothing has been charged for The Room and there is nothing to refund. You keep the Programme.
  • When your 28 weeks end and the first £10 is taken, we give you 14 more days to change your mind, whether or not the law gives you a new right to cancel at that point: if you cancel within 14 days of your first £10 payment, we refund that payment in full.
  • If you cancel the Programme within its 14 days, we cancel The Room too, because The Room is reached through the Programme's member area.

How to cancel within the 14 days

  • Tell us clearly before the 14 days end. The easiest way is the button below, which opens an email to us. You can also contact us any other way, or use the model form at the end of this page. You do not have to use the form.
  • It is enough to send your message before the 14 days end.
  • We confirm by email that we have received it.

Changed your mind?

Use this button within 14 days of buying, or within 14 days of your first £10 payment for The Room, which is taken 28 weeks after you buy. It opens an email to us with the details we need.

Refunds

  • We refund you within 14 days of hearing from you, to the payment method you used. You pay no fees for the refund.
  • Once we refund the Programme, your member access ends. Please do not keep using or share the lessons or toolkit files after that.

8. Cancelling The Room at any time

  • You can cancel The Room at any time, online, without any charge. Use "Manage your Room membership" on your member dashboard, the link in any Stripe email about your membership, or email us.
  • Cancelling stops future payments. The Room stays open to you until the end of the month you have paid for, or the end of your first 28 weeks, and then closes.
  • Apart from the refunds in section 7, we do not refund the rest of a month you have already started.
  • You keep the Programme and the toolkit.

9. If Jamie is unwell or something cannot go ahead

Nine Bar is run by one person, and Jamie is having ongoing medical treatment. This is what happens if Jamie is unwell, or if something else outside our control gets in the way.

  • The written lessons and the toolkit are already written. Lessons open on their dates automatically, even if Jamie is unwell.
  • A lesson video or a live session may move. If it does, we show the new date in the member area. If a live session is cancelled, we say so in the member area and, where we can, by email.
  • The Room is built to keep running. Most sessions are recorded, groups run themselves, and someone else can lead a session in Jamie's place.
  • If The Room cannot run as described in a month you have paid for, we refund that month.
  • If we cannot supply something you have paid for, such as a lesson video, within a reasonable time, you can ask for a fair price reduction. If the problem is serious, you can end the contract and get a refund.
  • If we ever have to close Nine Bar, we give you at least 60 days' notice. We refund any part of The Room you have paid for and not received, and we give you a way to download the written lessons and the toolkit.

10. If something is wrong

  • The law says digital content and services must match their description, be fit for purpose and be of the quality you can reasonably expect. Services must be provided with reasonable care and skill.
  • If something is wrong, tell us. We will put it right within a reasonable time at no cost to you. If we cannot, or do not, you may be entitled to a price reduction or a refund.
  • Under Spanish and EU law, we are responsible for faults in digital content that exist when it is supplied and show up within two years. For anything we supply continuously, such as access to the member area, we are responsible for the whole time we supply it.
  • If you live in the UK, you also have your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
  • These are your legal rights. Nothing in these terms limits them.

11. Using the member area

Signing in

  • When you buy, we sign you in on that device. To sign in somewhere else, use your email address and your personal sign-in code. The code is shown on your member dashboard and on the page you see straight after paying.
  • Keep your code private. Anyone with your email address and code can open your member area. If you lose it, email us.
  • Membership is for one person. Please do not share your sign-in.

What you can do with the content

  • You can use the lessons and the toolkit for your own learning and in your own business. You can fill in the spreadsheets and templates and keep them.
  • You cannot copy, sell, publish or share the lessons, videos or toolkit files, or use them to make a course or product for other people.
  • The lessons, videos, toolkit and website belong to Jamie. Buying gives you a personal licence to use them as described here. It does not give you ownership.

The Room's house rules

  • What members share in The Room stays in The Room.
  • Do not record sessions yourself, or pass on other members' details.
  • Treat other members with respect.

What you need

  • An internet connection and an up-to-date web browser.
  • Spreadsheets open in Excel, Numbers or Google Sheets.
  • Videos play inside the lesson page. Files have no copy protection.
  • The member area uses one cookie to keep you signed in. See privacy and cookies.

Teaching, not advice

The Programme and The Room teach general principles. They are not legal, tax, financial, investment or medical advice for your situation, and they do not promise any result. Decisions you make in your business are yours. For your own case, speak to a qualified professional.

12. If we end your access

  • We may suspend or end your access if you seriously break these terms, for example by sharing your sign-in or the content, or by abusing other members.
  • Unless it is urgent, we warn you first and give you a chance to put it right. We always tell you why.
  • If we end your Room membership, we refund any part of a month you have paid for and not received.

13. Our responsibility to you

If you are a consumer

  • We are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our breaking these terms or not using reasonable care and skill. Loss is foreseeable if it was obvious it would happen, or if we both knew it might happen when you bought.
  • We are not responsible for loss we did not cause, or that was not foreseeable.
  • We do not exclude or limit our responsibility for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law does not allow us to exclude or limit.

If you buy for a business

  • We are not liable for loss of profit, revenue, business, contracts, goodwill or opportunity, or for any indirect loss.
  • Our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose.
  • These limits do not apply to fraud, deliberate wrongdoing or gross negligence, or to anything the law does not allow us to limit.

14. Changes to these terms and prices

  • We may update these terms, for example when the law changes or we change how Nine Bar works. The version on this page on the day you buy applies to that purchase.
  • For The Room, if we change the price, or change these terms in a way that matters to you, we email you at least 30 days before the change. If you do not want it, you can cancel before it takes effect.
  • The price you paid for the Programme never changes.
  • We may improve or update lessons and toolkit files. We will not take away the core content you paid for.

15. Complaints

  • Email harfordjamie7@gmail.com with "Complaint" in the subject. You can also use the postal address or telephone number in our legal notice.
  • We confirm by email that we have received your complaint and give you a reference. We reply in full within 15 days.
  • Hay hojas de reclamación o denuncia a disposición del consumidor o usuario. Hi ha fulls de reclamació o de denúncia a disposició del consumidor o usuari. (Official complaint forms are available on request.)
  • We are not a member of any dispute resolution scheme. If we cannot settle your complaint, we tell you in writing about a body that can deal with it, and whether we will take part.
  • You can also contact the consumer authority where you live. If you live in the EU, the European Consumer Centre in your country can help with a complaint about a seller in another country.

16. Law and courts

  • Spanish law applies to these terms.
  • If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the consumer laws of the country where you live, where those laws cannot be set aside by agreement. If you live in the EU or the UK, you can bring a claim in the courts where you live.
  • If you buy for a business, the courts of Palma de Mallorca deal with any dispute.
  • If a court decides that part of these terms is invalid, the rest still applies.

17. Model withdrawal form

Fill in and send this form only if you want to cancel within the 14 days. You can copy it into an email.
